Born and raised in Milwaukee, Angela Dentice
has spent her entire life focused on helping those in need. Ms
Dentice graduated from Marquette University in 1970 and received a
Masters Degree from the University of Milwaukee in 1974.
Ms Dentice spent the first years of her career in
education, first teaching handicapped children and later as an
administrator of programs for handicapped children in the Milwaukee
Public School System. She taught courses relating to the education
of handicapped children at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Desiring to continue advocating for those in need,
Ms Dentice entered law school and graduated Cum Laude from Marquette
University Law School in 1985. She practiced personal injury and
medical malpractice law at two (2) successful Milwaukee area law
firms, before establishing her own law firm in 1999. She continues
to devote her law practice to advocating for the rights and needs of
injured children and adults.
In 2001, Ms Dentice served as the first woman
president of the Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers, the Wisconsin
organization of personal injury and medical malpractice lawyers. Ms
Dentice is a frequent lecturer to lawyer groups and has authored
numerous articles on various aspects of personal injury and medical
malpractice law. She is a past President of the Wisconsin Civil
Justice Education Foundation, a non-profit organization devoted to
the education of the public on the civil justice system and is a
member of numerous professional organizations including the
Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the American Bar
Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin and Women in Law. She was
recently appointed by Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor Barbara Lawton
to be co-chair of the Leadership and Political Task Force of the
statewide economic initiative Wisconsin Women=Prosperity.
